Sunshine :)

Sorry everyone that i have been slacking on the whole blog thing with posting new blogs. I guess i'm just not the blogging type person. I will do my best to try and stay more on top of it.

Most of you already know but for those of you that may not, I finally found a job and am working at a Spa called LaVida. It's brand new and has been open for about a month now and things seem to be getting pretty busy here. It sure is a nice change from doing retail. I can offically say that my retail days are over and I hope to never re-visit the retail world again. All the people I work with at the spa are great and its nice to finally be doing something that keeps me busy. I was getting pretty bored at home with not having a job. Never thought i would ever say that, haha!

The beginning of this weekend oddly enough we got snow, AGAIN! This time though it was a lot and it caused Brandon's school to be canceled and my work to be closed. It was nice to have a snow day and an extra day off from work, but than again....i am more than ready for summer and was hoping the sunshine would be shining instead of white flakes falling from the sky. This weekend though it's been in the high 70's, low 80's and its been wonderful! Makes no sense to me how we can go from snow the beginning of the week to short and tank top weather the end of the week. I'll take all the sunshine we can get though.

So i finally have a visitor coming!! Holly is flying out here in May to visit for 5 days :) Thank goodness...i was going crazy not having some real girl time. Dallas has also talked to me about maybe coming out to visit this summer, so we will see. I am always up for visitors. Before i know it, July will be here and i'll be flying home for Holly's wedding. She is getting married on Saturday, July 18th and i'm planning on coming home on Wednesday the 15th and leaving on Sunday the 19th that way i have a little extra time to spend with family and friends since i don't know when i'll be making a trip back to Washington again after that.

Other than that, everything in North Carolina is going wonderful! I am soooo happy i decided to pack up my stuff and try something new. I love it here, minus the fact I miss my family and of course friends, and my kitty too but other than that i'm surviving! No complaints :)
